  
The Great Lakes Diabetes Institute is recognized by the American Diabetes Association (ADA) and a division of Great Lakes Home Healthcare Services.
The Great Lakes Diabetes Institute staff includes certified diabetes educators, nurse educators, dietitians and counselors who work with you and your family to enhance your lifestyle and prevent complications. We also present group and individual classes on blood gluose monitoring, medications, foot care, insulin administration and the 10 content areas as requested by the ADA.
Diabetes education is covered by most insurance plans if referred by a physician.
